100,000th fresh meal to those facing food insecurity on Maui
July 17, 2026
On Friday July 10, 2026, the Hua momona Foundation served their 100,000th fresh meal to those facing food insecurity on Maui since August 8, 2023.
Aloha – An endeavor of this magnitude takes so many people, so much help, so many volunteers, and we have so much gratitude for everyone who has lended a helping hand for this important cause here on Maui and who have been involved at every level. Mahalo to every chef, every sponsor, every volunteer, every restaurant, every donor and everyone who has taken this journey with us. Food and the cost of everyday goods continues to escalate for Maui families, and your generosity is what keeps meals on the table, one at a time.
We need your assistance more than ever as food insecurity is not going anywhere. Here is how you can allow us to keep sharing the Aloha for those in need:
DONATE – Every donation goes directly toward more meals, more water access, and more community resilience for Maui families. Donations can be made online at at RISE-Maui.org
ATTEND MAUI MUSIC AND FOOD EXPERIENCE – Two days of music and food on Maui, August 21-22, benefiting Hua Momona Foundation. Featuring Los Lobos, Taimane, Kanekoa, Lisa Fischer, Bernard Fowler, John Cruz, and many more. Purchase tickets and passes and view full lineup at MMFE-Maui.org
ATTEND RISE MAUI SUMMIT – A new summit exploring sustainability and innovation in West Maui, August 17-21, with proceeds directly benefiting Hua Momona Foundation. Purchase passes and view full schedule at RISE-Maui.org

Hua Momona Foundation is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to food insecurity, water access, and community resilience on Maui, showing up week after week to make sure Maui families have a meal on the table.
